Know About Centrifuge Tubes
UPTATED:2022/10/25 Author:

In many laboratories, there is a glass or plastic vessel composed of a hemispherical bottom and a cylinder, which is used to place radioactive or highly corrosive samples. It is called a centrifuge tube.

Precautions for centrifuge tubes:

When using a centrifuge tube, we should not use one tube for many times. We should pay attention to sample volatilization and leakage of some radioactive or corrosive samples; In the process of storage, it is necessary to seal well; Prevent the centrifugal tube from deformation.

Function of centrifuge tube caps:

Plastic centrifuge tubes are equipped with pipe caps, which must be tightly covered to prevent liquid leakage.

1. It is used for radioactive or highly corrosive samples to prevent leakage of samples.

2. Prevent sample volatilization.

3. Support centrifugal tube to prevent deformation of centrifugal tube.
