Antibiotic solutions are a series of products specially designed for cell culture applications. They have undergone 0.1μm filtration for sterilization and strict quality control, and can be directly added to cell culture mediums to prevent most microbial contamination during cell culture processes.
AB-KS01
Penicillin-Streptomycin Solution ("double antibiotics") is commonly used in vitro to prevent microbial contamination, effectively controlling most bacterial contaminants. The Penicillin-Streptomycin-Amphotericin B Solution (commonly called "triple antibiotics") is a widely used antibiotic cocktail in cell culture, effective against most bacterial and fungal contaminants.
A bottle: contains penicillin G sodium salt and streptomycin sulfate powder, a white fine powder;
B bottle: contains 10mM PBS, 50mL.
Usage method: This product is prepared with water for injection and undergoes sterilization treatment through a 0.1μm filtration process.
Recommended working concentration: 50-100 units of penicillin, 50-100μg of streptomycin. After complete tha wing, add it to the cell culture medium at a maximum volume ratio of 1:100.
Storage conditions: The solution should be stored upon receipt at 2~8℃ . The product is stable for 12 months.
AB-KS02
The mixture of penicillin, streptomycin, and amphotericin B (Penicillin-Strepetomycin-Amphotericin B Solution) is a commonly used antibiotic solution in vitro culture, also known as the "three-antibiotic" solution. It is the most commonly used antibiotic for preventing microbial contamination in vitro culture, and is often prepared as a 100-fold concentration mother liquor. Among them, penicillin (Penicillin) can interfere with the synthesis of bacterial cell wall, and is effective against Gram-positive bacteria; Streptomycin can bind to the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, inhibit the synthesis of bacterial proteins, and is effective against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, especially Gram-negative bacteria. Amphotericin B (Amphotericin B) can bind to ergosterol on the fungal cell membrane, causing damage to the cell membrane, increased permeability, leakage of intracellular substances, disruption of normal metabolism, and antibacterial effect, but it is ineffective against bacteria. The combination of penicillin, streptomycin, and amphotericin B can prevent most bacterial and fungal contamination.
Recommended working concentration: penicillin is 100 U/ mL; Streptomycin: 0.1 mg/ml;Amphotericin B: 0.25 μg/mL.
This product divides the traditional double-antibody solution into two parts, A bottle and B bottle, of which:
A bottle: contains penicillin G sodium salt, streptomycin sulfate and amphotericin B powder, a white fine powder;
B bottle: contains 10mM PBS, 50mL.
Before use, transfer the B bottle solution into the A bottle under sterile conditions, gently shake and mix, and you will get a final concentration of 10 kU/ml penicillin G sodium, 10 mg/ml streptomycin sulfate, and 25 μg/ml triple antibody solution.
Storage conditions: Unopened, stored at 2-8℃ for 2 years.After mixing, store at 2-8℃ and use it up within 1 month. If you want to preserve it for a long time after mixing, you can store it at -20°C after being divided into small portions, and it will be effective for one year.
