Innovative 3D Cell Culture Platform Could Replace the Use of Animals in Research
Update:2022-01-01 16:43:50

A new study has discovered an innovative 3D cell culture platform that aims to replace the use of animals in research. It is a fully-synthetic self-assembling peptide hydrogel (SAPH) platform, which aims to address all the current shortcomings of available in vitro models. Current models of development and disease typically rely on animals or animal-derived products, which often do not accurately reflect the physiology of human tissues.

PeptiMatrix hydrogels are well-defined, have limited batch variability, offer excellent handling properties, and contain no irrelevant animal-derived material. They can also be customized through a variety of available methods to mimic both the stiffness and composition of any target tissue type. This unique combination of features promises to deliver to researchers more accurate and reproducible data in drug development and investigative research, whilst also helping to reduce the use of animals in research.

That's why we're excited to offer our innovative 3D cell culture products to help advance 3D cell culture research. Biologix 3D cell culture products allows for the growth and cultivation of cells in a more realistic environment, providing a more accurate representation of how cells behave in the body. This enables researchers to better understand the mechanisms underlying disease and develop more effective treatments. Biologix 3D cell culture series includes: 3D Cell Culture Multi Insert Dish, 3D Cell Culture Plate Insert™ Hanging, 3D Cell Floater Dish, etc. So far, these products have been recognized by many research institutes and laboratories around the world. We will continue to work hard and innovate to provide more better and more advanced cell culture products!
