PCR tubes and PCR plates is essential in the field of molecular biology. PCR is used for a variety of applications, including DNA sequencing, gene expression analysis, and genetic engineering. PCR tubes and plates are also used in disease diagnosis and forensics. By using PCR, scientists can amplify and study small amounts of DNA, providing valuable insights into genetics and molecular biology.

· There are two common types of PCR tubes/plates: white and clear. In traditional PCR experiments, there is not much difference in use between the two. However, in quantitative PCR experiments, the sensitivity and consistency of white tubes are relatively higher for qPCR instruments that require apical signal reading.

· The skirt of a PCR plate refers to the extension around the plate. There are three common types: no skirt, half skirt and full skirt. Unskirted PCR plates are compatible with all models, while fully skirted PCR plates are commonly used in automated workstations.

· Biologix PCR plates are made of medical grade polypropylene, and ultra-thin tube walls with uniform thickness for accelerated heat transfer, shorter cycle times, and more consistent results; alphanumeric well labeling for convenient identification, DNase, RNase, and endotoxin free. They fit most standard thermocyclers and can withstand centrifugation of up to 6,000 RCF. Biologix PCR plates and tubes will be a great choice to empower your experiments!
